"Just to paint . . . ."

Sydney was born in San Luis Obispo, on the California coast. She has lived in the West her entire life - California, Colorado, Oregon, and now Arizona, in the historic mining town of Bisbee.

She says, "My goal is to be able to paint the things that attract me in such a way that others can see what I loved about a scene or object." Currently, it is the wildlife, architecture, and landscape of the West that interest her.
